We provide independent M&E design and consultancy support at every stage — from initial heat calculation and feasibility assessment, through to fully detailed system design and commissioning. Our portfolio spans more than 150 completed GSHP, ASHP, WSHP and multi-technology installations, including several award-winning and district heat projects.
We work as an extension of your team, offering rigorous, independent technical insight without the overhead of a traditional building services practice.

Feasibility, concept design and fully detailed M&E design — heat calculations, schematics and plantroom layouts through every RIBA stage.
Hydraulic Modelling & Simulation
Modelling, validation and optimisation, in partnership with Twelvetrees Digital Buildings Ltd.
Heat Networks
District and communal heat network design — network hydraulics, plant sizing, metering strategy and low-carbon heat sources.
Installation & Project Management
Hands-on through delivery: contractor coordination, clerk-of-works oversight, tender oversight and commissioning management on site.

Skye Tansey
Founder & Principal Engineer
A mechanical engineering background spanning nuclear, wind and geothermal. Skye has designed more than 150 energy systems, including award-winning installations, and specialises in hydraulic de-carbonisation design.
Associate Engineer
Leads our building modelling and delivers comprehensive HYSOPT output for project optimisation. Expertise in detailed design and 3D modelling ensures precise, efficient project delivery.
Chartered Engineer, Project Developer
Over four decades in energy engineering, delivering projects across the UK, USA, China and Europe. A registered professional energy consultant and part-time lecturer at Brunel University London, Keith specialises in energy efficiency and net-zero solutions.
Rahib, Keith and I have worked together for many years. We each have vast experience individually — together, we’re a team that’s greater than the sum of its parts.

How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope and complexity — a straightforward feasibility study can turn around in days, a full system design across multiple RIBA stages takes longer. Get in touch and we can give you a realistic estimate for your project.
How do you keep us updated during a project?
You’ll have a direct line to the engineer working on your project, not a call centre — we provide updates at agreed milestones and are reachable by phone or email in between.
What are the costs?
We price on a project-by-project basis, as no two are the same. Get in touch to discuss yours.
Are you fully insured?
Yes — we hold full professional indemnity design insurance.
